The Double Barrel is for the player who needs a versatile but transparent overdrive at medium and light gain levels. You won’t find face melting distortion here, but you will find overdrive with the character and stacking abilities to cover most any tonal need.

The Angry Charlie has become a staple of the JHS line over the years. In the 3, we set out to keep everything that has made it a star in place while adding some tweaks for even greater flexibility and usability. The V3 is a force to be reckoned with in the high gain pedal territory. It convincingly and accurately breathes JCM800 tones with ease. Let’s look at the features.

When we released the Superbolt in 2012, we never dreamed that it would become one of the most recognized and distinguished pedals in our history. With V2, we have kept everything that has made it a go-to drive pedal across the globe and simply expanded its reach of versatility and options. Let’s take a look at what it offers.

JHS Charlie Brown V4 Channel Drive
To faithfully replicate a vintage Marshall, we felt it was time to incorporate a full Marshall style tone stack. The Charlie Brown V4 builds on the popularity of the V3 by keeping the same heart and soul while giving more flexibility and options.

JHS Morning Glory V4 Transparent Overdrive
Over the years the Morning Glory is undoubtedly our most known and praised overdrive pedal. It has won more awards and received more accolades than any other JHS pedal. It was created in 2009 out of a need for an overdrive pedal that simply took a guitar and amplifier’s tone to the next level without adding strong mid frequencies or any other characteristic that came along with the Tubescreamer style circuits on the market.

The AT V2 (Andy Timmons) Signature Channel Drive
Sometime in 2013 Andy Timmons purchased an Angry Charlie from a guitar shop in Texas, and it became his main dirt channel soon after. Having a chat with him at Winter NAMM 2015 we set out to tweak it a bit to his personal tastes and needs so that it could fit even better into his live rig. The rest is history and the JHS Pedals “AT”, AKA “The @“, was born. Let’s take a look at its controls and function.

Full-Drive2 Mosfet
The Fulltone Fulldrive2 MOSFET overdrive pedal gives you two great channels of overdrive — and then some! The Fulldrive2 MOSFET includes an Overdrive Mode that can go from clean, uncompressed gain boost to low to medium overdrives, all while keeping your guitar’s voice intact. Hit the footswitch on the second channel and you unleash Boost Mode, which includes its own distortion controls for higher gain and great sustain (it’s classic rock heaven!)

Wampler Paisley Drive Overdrive Pedal
The truly great thing about this pedal is that it’s not only Telecaster style guitars that it works so well with, it brings the best out of your Strat or anything you may have loaded with humbuckers. You no longer need to have individual pedals for your guitars; the Paisley Drive will make each one sing.
