JHS Morning Glory V4 Transparent Overdrive
Over the years the Morning Glory is undoubtedly our most known and praised overdrive pedal. It has won more awards and received more accolades than any other JHS pedal. It was created in 2009 out of a need for an overdrive pedal that simply took a guitar and amplifier’s tone to the next level without adding strong mid frequencies or any other characteristic that came along with the Tubescreamer style circuits on the market.
The AT (Andy Timmons) Signature Channel Drive
Sometime in 2013 Andy Timmons purchased an Angry Charlie from a guitar shop in Texas, and it became his main dirt channel soon after. Having a chat with him at Winter NAMM 2015 we set out to tweak it a bit to his personal tastes and needs so that it could fit even better into his live rig. The rest is history and the JHS Pedals “AT”, AKA “The @“, was born. Let’s take a look at its controls and function.
Maxon Nine Series VINTAGE OVERDRIVE PRO (VOP-9)
This is the Mother of All Overdrives! It has the tightest bottom I’ve ever heard. It’s Gutsy and Musical with more than enough Gain. It has BALLS. It does what it’s supposed to do and more. It just sounds GREAT!”
Custom Shop “RTO” Robin Trower Overdrive
Robin Trower is known for TONE. While working with Robin during his 2008 tour, I developed an overdrive truly worthy of the Trower namesake.
Touch responsive, huge sounding, sustain for days… and crystal clear when the guitar’s volume knob is reduced for great live dynamics. Being that Robin uses Fenders as well as Marshalls, it had to work well with both types… and it does. And Robin hits so hard that the front end of the pedal had to be tuned for those .012-.048 tuned-down strings. The RTO holds tight and smooth for Strat and Les Paul players alike.
Fulltone 2B Boost Pedal
The Fulltone 2B is an amazing boost pedal, born from the “Boost” channel in our FD3 pedal. Soon after the FD3 came out I started getting a steady flow of emails asking if I could “please make that into a single channel Boost pedal!” So I crammed the circuit into the smallest possible enclosure 4.5″ x 2.1″ x 2.3″ with battery tucked tightly inside and even engineered space-saving rear-mounted IN, OUT, and DC power jacks, and added an important feature not offered in the FD3.
Secret Freq Overdrive/Distortion
Dynamic asymmetrical clipping gives the Secret Freq. a sweet, musical clean boost, juicy overdrive, and rich, touch responsive high gain sounds. Not like the PlimSoul, nothing like the OCD, and not like any other pedal, but worth the price of admission were you to use it simply as is for your “bread and butter” OD/Distortion pedal.
For many, many years you’ve basically had 2 choices for your Overdrive/Distortion pedals: You could either get “Soft-clipped” Bluesy, slightly compressed, (Toob Screemer, FD2, etc.) type Overdrive pedals… or you could get “Hard-Clipped” (OCD, Distortion+, Boss DS-1, etc.) type Distortion pedals.
The Fulltone Fulldrive2 MOSFET overdrive pedal gives you two great channels of overdrive — and then some! The Fulldrive2 MOSFET includes an Overdrive Mode that can go from clean, uncompressed gain boost to low to medium overdrives, all while keeping your guitar’s voice intact. Hit the footswitch on the second channel and you unleash Boost Mode, which includes its own distortion controls for higher gain and great sustain (it’s classic rock heaven!)
The Full-Drive 2 has been a huge success over the years…with 150,000 sold over the last 20 years. It’s still on many Pro’s pedalboards… it’s not going anywhere! But over the years many people have asked: “Please offer a footswitchable independent Clean-Boost channel” as opposed to the FD2’s footswitchable “Distortion Boost” function. So the Custom Shop “20th anniversary Full-Drive 3” was born..5000 units built and SOLD OUT in 8 months. So the next logical step is the Full-Drive3 .
The New Fulltone OCD V2
The OCD has received many slight tweaks over the last 12 years, often incorrectly identified as “version 2, Version 3, V4, etc.” In reality there has always been only one version…Version 1, with very slight variations after that making them V1.1 through V1.7.On 6/15/2017 we released a very new OCD, different enough that it warrants a V2 designation, an explanation and warrants a trip to your favorite dealer to give it another listen. Not a subtle change when turned on…not a subtle change when turned off (in E.B. mode).
Sonic changes to OCD V2
NEW FEATURE output buffer (when pedal is turned on in True-Bypass mode, or always when in Enhanced Bypass mode) which eliminates it from being influenced by effects that came after it. Translation, your sound remains consistent regardless of placement in today’s more complex signal-chains, loopers, and pedalboards. This buffer also had a positive effect on the sound, it reduced loading on the pedal’s hard-clipping stage, allowing more sustain of both the sound and the overtones.
NEW FEATURE Class A configured discrete 2N5457 JFET input section, raising the input impedance to 1 mega ohms (previously 330K) and increasing the dynamics…resulting in significantly better interaction with both single coil and humbuckers.
NEW FEATURE Internal switch to choose between ”Enhanced Bypass TM” & True-Bypass, and with no popping sound in either mode. No other company offers EB…I invented it.
Octafuzz… the only exact circuit copy of the legendary Tycobrahe Octavia. Cool Octave-Up sounds a la Hendrix “Band of Gypsies” and SRV’s many live shows! Housed in a 14ga. steel enclosure with a beautiful ranar-blue gloss powdercoat finish and antique-white logo, this pedal is the reincarnation of the Tycobrahe.
Our Soul-Bender is based on the legendary Colorsound and Vox Series III ToneBenders made by Sola-Sound/England in the late ’60’s that was used by Beck and Page on much of their circa 1968-70 recordings.
Wampler Pinnacle Deluxe Overdrive Pedal
Which Pinnacle is right for you isn’t a question of tone, because they both nail that coveted “Brown Sound”! It just comes down to whether you need the special features found on the Pinnacle Deluxe, or prefer the smaller footprint of the standard Pinnacle.
Wampler Pinnacle Standard Overdrive Pedal
This pedal has 4 knobs — two separate tone controls that act as a sort of parametric EQ, gain and volume. It also has a ‘bright’ switch that adds a ton of variety and is very handy when playing a dark sounding amp, as well as another toggle switch that will give you high gain “Brown Sound” tones.
Wampler Tweed ’57 Overdrive Pedal
Whether you are playing a 60’s humbuckers inspired rock song, or a slow single coils blues tune – Wampler’s Tweed ’57 pedal will help you create those iconic tweed sounds you have come to know and love – all at the click of a switch. Think Fender Bassman in a Box.
Wampler 30 Something Overdrive Pedal
Finally after tweaking this pedal for 3 years, Brian was beyond happy. Other pedals have come and gone, but this one has always been on the breadboard; being tweaked here and modified there. Finally Brian was ready to present one of his favorite tones of all time. AC15 / AC30 in a Box!!!

Wampler Paisley Drive Overdrive Pedal
The truly great thing about this pedal is that it’s not only Telecaster style guitars that it works so well with, it brings the best out of your Strat or anything you may have loaded with humbuckers. You no longer need to have individual pedals for your guitars; the Paisley Drive will make each one sing.

Wampler Euphoria Overdrive Pedal
The Wampler Euphoria is overdrive pedal that is widely known for it’s “warm and creamy” nature. It has the capability to have an incredible clean sound that has a little bit of “grit” over the top of the clean tone, yet, it can take you to super crunchy and thick drive sounds. When you think of this pedal, think Dumble or Ecstasy Overdrive Amps.
’70 BC-108C Fuzz
The 70-BC Fuzz is housed in a 16 gauge steel box and powder coated deep blue. This pedal is a bit unruly but with some warmth… ideal for older 4 input Marshall amps, it has much more FUZZ than the ’69 Pedal and includes a Mid control for extra clarity and cut.
